Our Services and Products

1. Integrated Farming (Vegetables-Crops-Livestock-Poultry-Fish)

Agriculture is the largest labor employer in Luapula. 90% of current food production is from inefficient smallholders with limited access to inputs or modern farming methods. The negative impacts of land degradation, high prices of farm inputs, and climate change compound the problems of food security and sustainable livelihoods.

Our company promotes integrated farming to help eradicate poverty and promote sustainable food security at grassroots communities. This involves combining various farming practices such as vegetable growing, crop production, livestock rearing, poultry farming, and fish farming to optimize resource use and increase productivity.

2. Fuel-Efficient Cook Stoves

Many people in Luapula still rely on traditional bioenergy sources such as fuel wood and charcoal for cooking and space heating. This often requires women and children to spend many hours collecting firewood, leading to high expenditures for charcoal, reduced income, and local employment for women and youths. Additionally, it results in increased deforestation, land degradation, indoor smoke, health problems, and climate change.

We promote the use of fuel-efficient cook stoves to address these issues. These stoves reduce the amount of fuel needed for cooking, saving time and money, and reducing environmental and health impacts.
